Questions to ask before joining a crew?

Every individual and situation is unique, so generalizing expectations among members is challenging. To ensure a positive experience, we encourage you to be proactive and thorough when using Sailing180.comâ„¢.

When you register your profile, clearly define what you're seeking. When someone contacts you, be prepared to ask specific questions and share details about your own situation. The more questions you ask upfront, the fewer surprises you'll encounter later.

While most of our members report excellent experiences, misaligned expectations can lead to distress. Many of these situations are avoidable by simply asking comprehensive questions from the outset.
